About my Work

LinuxGSM is the main project that I work on and is massively popular with gaming clans, communities and LAN organisers because of its simplicity. There is no complex setup and no requirement for complex infrastructure or web interfaces. It’s as simple as running one line of code to get started.

I started LinuxGSM because I was looking for a good script to manage a Killing Floor server while at a LAN event. I did find a couple of very basic scripts that didn’t really work well. I thought I could do better and started creating a simple BASH script to stop, start and update a server. I realised over time that there were loads of servers out there that could do with a simple management script and the project grew. I spend much of my spare time coding and documenting LinuxGSM. I get great satisfaction and enjoyment from working on LinuxGSM and will continue for a long time to come.

There have been brilliant feedback from the gaming community about the project with many server admins contributing their experience to either give feedback or write code.
